Streamlining Alcium Software’s Transition to the Cloud
Alcium Software Limited is a software company specialising in the production and delivery of high quality software and web based solutions. They have built and support a number of market leading solutions both in the public and private sector.
With the rise of hybrid working during COVID, Alcium Software needed to assess their local infrastructure, mitigate risks, and ensure seamless remote access for their staff.
We conducted a thorough project discovery to evaluate their existing infrastructure and identify potential risks. The solution involved upgrading their exisiting on-premise servers away from End-of-life versions to fully supported up-to-date ones as well as migrating their servers to the cloud, ensuring minimal downtime during the transition. Additionally, we implemented a robust VPN infrastructure, enabling secure and efficient remote access for employees.
This migration empowered Alcium Software to adapt to changing work environments while maintaining service reliability and security.
