Last week I had the chance to swap our usual office view of the River Don, for the canals of Amsterdam, as we headed over to attend both The Things Conference and TechEx.

Jake and I recently had the opportunity to attend the Cloud & AI Infrastructure London 2025. This event brought together top industry leaders, innovators, and professionals from across the cloud and AI sectors to explore the latest advancements in technology and infrastructure.

As a recently appointed Freeman at the Company of Cutlers in Hallamshire, The Curve were given the opportunity to attend their regular monthly Tuesday Breakfast members event, and present a topic which gives rise to some of the most pressing challenges and opportunities facing companies today.

Earlier this month, I had the privilege of joining a panel discussion at Marmadukes, held by the Casla team – Richard Costello, Millie and Saskia, alongside Chris Cotterill, Marketing Director from Tribepad and Claire O’Toole, B2B Marketing Manager from Westfield Health.

First of all, a massive thank you to everyone who attended our event on the transformative power of IoT, we were thrilled to see so many familiar faces and new ones eager to dive into the world of IoT.

In this post we take a quick look at the gadgets featured during The Curve’s demo at our first in-person event that we hosted the other week as well as a few of the considerations that went into the design, build and software.

September was a busy month for us at The Curve, but Paul and I were able to get some time out of the office to attend The Things Conference in Amsterdam.

We were thrilled to attend and be recognised as one of Yorkshire’s Tech Climbers for 2024! Published with BusinessCloud and TechBlast Yorkshire Tech Climbers recognises and showcases the top-performing, IP-rich, product-led technology businesses from within the Yorkshire region.

This year, as part of The Curve’s charity fundraiser for Cavendish Cancer Care, Paul and Andrew decided to really push themselves and take on a serious challenge.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the NHS Executive Strategy Summit in London last week. It was a great opportunity to understand the key challenges that many Trusts and wider NHS Organisations are facing, and it was insightful to hear from inspiring thought leaders within the industry about how they are currently tackling these challenges.

This year, as part of The Curve’s charity fundraiser for Cavendish Cancer Care, the team have decided to really push themselves and take on a serious challenge.

The Curve is celebrating four years of designing, writing, building, developing and everything in between!

Following on from an incredible year for us here at The Curve we were thrilled to be announced as the winners of the Yorkshire Prestige Awards 2022/23 Software Developer of the Year.
