Are you an ambitious marketing all-rounder who's excited by technology and loves making things happen? We're looking for a Marketing Executive to help put The Curve on the map across the North of England.
Please note that whilst this position is open to remote working we are only accepting applications from candidates who are currently residing in the United Kingdom.
You'll split your time roughly equally between our events programme and our wider marketing: content, social, paid campaigns, sales enablement and marketing assets. It's a role with real variety and real ownership. One day you'll be writing a case study, the next you'll be making sure a roundtable runs without a hitch.
You don't need to arrive knowing about technology. We'll teach you about The Curve, our clients and the work we do. What you do need is a solid grounding in marketing and, above all, strong written communication skills. This role will suit an organised self-starter who likes seeing things through and taking pride in their work. In return, we'll invest in your development, make sure you’re surrounded by a supportive team and give you room to grow your career with us.
You'll report to our Head of Marketing and work closely with our Sales and Business Development Team.
Help with the planning and delivery of our events programme, including roundtables, webinars and partner events across Leeds, Sheffield, Manchester and new cities
Write and schedule event communications, from invitations and reminders to post-event follow-up, using Hubspot
Build event landing pages and registration forms, and keep event listings on our website up to date
Brief and produce event assets, including social creative, presentations, banners and printed materials, so everything is ready well ahead of each event
Drive registrations from the right audience through paid social, email and partner promotion
Attend events in person, support on the day and capture content to use afterwards
Make sure every attendee is followed up promptly and passed to our business development team, and report on attendance, leads and opportunities
Use AI tools thoughtfully to get more from every piece of content, with your own judgement and voice making the final cut
Write case studies, articles, newsletters and thought leadership pieces, often in the voice of our senior team
Turn events into content, such as write-ups, clips and articles, that builds our visibility in search and AI search
Manage The Curve's LinkedIn presence and help our leadership team become more active on LinkedIn
Design on-brand social graphics and marketing assets
Create sales materials such as one-pagers, case studies and presentations for our business development team
Plan, build and optimise paid campaigns on Meta and LinkedIn
Help us test new formats, including video and podcasts
Track results and share what's working, so we can do more of it
Previous hands-on marketing experience, whether in-house, in an agency or through a placement year
Strong writing skills, with the ability to turn a brief or an interview into a clear case study, email or article
Confidence in producing social graphics and simple marketing assets in a design tool such as Figma and Canva (you will be supported by design resource, but the ability to build on and amend assets is essential)
Excellent organisation, with the ability to manage several deadlines and projects at once
Comfortable adapting when plans change and happy to work things out as you go
Willingness to travel to events across the North of England, with occasional early starts
Experience running paid social campaigns, ideally in Meta Ads Manager and/or LinkedIn
Experience using AI tools to repurpose and scale content, while keeping it accurate, on-brand and recognisably human
Experience with Hubspot or a similar marketing automation platform
Involvement in organising events, webinars or roundtables
B2B marketing experience, ideally in technology or professional services
An interest in technology, data and AI
Basic video editing skills
A degree in marketing, communications or a closely related subject
We’re committed to creating an environment where people can thrive, both personally and professionally. We challenge and support one another to grow, whether that’s through formal training, new experiences, mentorship or stepping outside of our comfort zones. We also recognise that everyone has different commitments and responsibilities outside of work, which is why flexible working is a core part of our culture, giving our people the freedom to balance their work in a way that works for them.
Alongside opportunities for development, we offer a range of benefits including a health cash plan, wellbeing support, family-focused benefits such as income protection and death in service cover, and regular team events (usually involving great food).
No two days are ever the same. As a consultancy, we work with a wide variety of clients, technologies and challenges, which means our people are continually learning and adapting. We don’t specialise in a single technology stack, so you’ll have opportunities to work across different tools, platforms and programming languages, developing a broad range of skills and experiences along the way. If you enjoy variety, problem-solving and continuous learning, you’ll feel right at home.
Our impact goes beyond the solutions we deliver. We’re always looking for ways to make a positive difference for our clients, our colleagues and the wider community, whether that’s through charitable fundraising, local initiatives or simply doing the right thing.
Our focus extends beyond delivering great technology. We’re committed to building lasting partnerships, creating meaningful outcomes and leaving things better than we found them. Whether you’re taking your first step into the industry or looking for your next challenge, we’d love to hear from you.
