Founded in 2004, Schools Plus has been transforming community lettings across the UK for over 20 years. It is the longest-running school lettings company, they help schools generate flexible income by renting out their facilities outside school hours.
Schools Plus provides a fully managed service, handling every aspect of community lettings. They manage everything—from staffing, sales, and marketing to revenue collection and safeguarding—ensuring a seamless and comprehensive service.
Schools Plus required support and maintenance for an internal booking system, but it soon became clear that the existing infrastructure had scalability, security, and performance limitations. The lack of a customer-facing platform meant bookings had to be handled manually, limiting efficiency and growth potential.
To address the challenges faced by Schools Plus, The Curve and Schools Plus developed "Enni", a bespoke booking platform designed to modernise and streamline their operations. This custom-built system replaced manual processes and legacy infrastructure, providing a scalable, intuitive, and efficient platform for both Schools Plus and third-party venue operators.
The introduction of a self-service booking system allowed customers to search for available spaces, make instant bookings online, and manage their reservations without requiring staff intervention.To ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, Enni incorporated integrated safeguarding and VAT handling, creating a seamless checkout experience while maintaining adherence to legal and financial standards.
With Enni, Schools Plus now operates a fully scalable, secure, and user-friendly booking system that optimises revenue opportunities for venue operators while providing an excellent experience for customers.
